‘Lessons in Chemistry’ and ‘The Morning Show’ honored at Creative Arts Emmys

Apple TV+ has won eight awards at the Creative Arts Emmys, ahead of the full Emmy Awards ceremony.

Across the whole of the 2024 Emmy Awards categories, Apple TV+ scored 72 nominations. The major categories such as best series and best acting ones, will be announced on September 15, 2024.

For the initial Creative Arts Emmy Awards, however, five Apple TV+ shows and one Apple commercial took home a total of eight awards.

“The Morning Show” drama series and documentary “Girls Slate” both took two, with “Lessons in Chemistry,” “Palm Royale,” and “Masters of the Air” getting one each.

  • Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (non-prosthetic): “The Morning Show”
  • Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music: “Palm Royale”
  • Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series: “Lessons in Chemistry”
  • Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Limited Series: “Masters of the Air”
  • Outstanding Directing for a Documentary: “Girls Slate”
  • Outstanding Cinematography: “Girls Slate”
  • Apple’s “Fuzzy Feelings” holiday film then took the award for Outstanding Commercial.

    Eugene and Dan Levy will present the main ceremony of the 76th Emmy Awards. It will be shown on ABC.
