Workplace thriller ‘Severance’ returns to Apple TV+ in early 2025

The return of Lumon Industries to Apple TV+ is on the way, with the second season of “Severance” landing on the streaming service on January 17.

In a YouTube trailer released on Wednesday, Apple confirms that the second season of the show will premiere on January 17, 2025.

Severance follows Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott, who leads a team at the secretive Lumon Industries. To ensure a “work-life balance,” employees under go a “severance,” a surgical procedure to separate the memories of their work and personal lives.

The cast also includes Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tulloch, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette, and Sarah Bock. It is executive produced by Ben Stiller, who also directs five episodes for the second season.
