Fixit Solutions Inc.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information responsibly when you visit our website, request an estimate, contact us or use our repair services.

Effective date: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fixit Solutions Inc., doing business through XFixit and the website xfixit.com, collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information. By using our website or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

1

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to personal information collected through:

  • The XFixit website and online forms.
  • Free-estimate and repair-service requests.
  • Telephone, email and text-message communications.
  • In-store repair, diagnostic and technical-support services.
  • Invoices, payments, warranties and customer-service records.
  • Business IT, networking and point-of-sale support services.

This policy does not apply to independently operated websites, applications or services that we do not control.

2

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us and which services you request.

Contact Information

Your name, telephone number, email address, mailing address and preferred communication method.

Repair and Device Information

Device type, brand, model, serial number, condition, reported problem, diagnostic findings and repair history.

Transaction Information

Estimates, work orders, invoices, payment status, purchased products, warranties, refunds and related records.

Communications

Messages, emails, form submissions, support requests, reviews and other communications you send to us.

Website Information

IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location, viewed pages, referral source and interaction data.

Business-Service Information

Information needed to provide network, computer, business IT, point-of-sale or technical-support services.

Payment information

Payments may be handled by third-party payment processors. We may receive limited transaction details, such as the payment amount, payment status and a partial card identifier. We generally do not receive or store your complete payment-card number when a third-party processor handles the transaction.

Information you choose to provide

Please do not submit passwords, account credentials, government identification numbers, financial account details or other highly sensitive information through general website forms unless we specifically request it through an appropriate method.

3

Information Stored on Customer Devices

Devices submitted for repair may contain personal files, photographs, messages, contacts, account information, applications or other private content.

Our technicians are expected to access information stored on a customer device only when reasonably necessary to diagnose the reported problem, complete an authorized repair, test the device or provide a requested service. We do not use customer-device content for advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

In some cases, testing a repair may require access to operating-system functions, settings, cameras, speakers, microphones, storage, networks, applications or test files. We seek to limit such access to what is reasonably necessary for the requested service.

Back up your information before service

Customers should back up important files and remove unnecessary sensitive information before providing a device for repair. Data loss can occur because of hardware failure, existing damage, software corruption, malware, factory resets or the repair process.

When a password or access code is needed to perform an authorized service, it should be provided only through a method approved by XFixit. Customers should change temporary credentials after the repair is completed.

4

9

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, passwords, secure connections, system updates, limited employee access and service-provider safeguards.
